Took me about $6,000 before I woke up. Should have listen to the wife. She saw through it from the begining. I have to say I did meet some very nice people but, it was a high price to pay in time mostly and money. Wonder where these guys are at today?

I was also way down in the Harteis line many years ago. At the time I had tremendous respect for him but I lost it very quickly when I learned the truth. The truth is that they make very little money from the movement of products, the prices are much too high, the compensation plan stinks and the vast bulk of the money is made from the sale of tapes (CDs now presumably) and functions. Maybe Harteis et al didn’t know all this when they started but no doubt by the time they became directs they certainly did. Yet they continued to take advantage of brainwashed people to overpay for products and dream for unrealistic success. They used to say you can’t believe things from the internet and now they use it as reason to quit the business. What hypocrites. They have ruined countless lives. I did not give up on the industry and yes there is a real way to do it right without lying to people and brainwashing them. Harteis et al didn’t care about their people at all, only about the almighty dollar. A pox on all of them.

As an IBO way down under Fred Harteis for years, I can tell you unequivocally that his presence in my life has far more positive than negative. He is no longer a part of the business I am in, but I learned SO MUCH from him and folks in his organisation. Circumstances have “damaged” people, not Fred himself. Decisions he made have affected us, but I can tell you, for me, I am part of the same wonderful people organisation
he worked so hard to create. He does have a lasting positive legacy. It is a shame the company he put so much into has changed their core values. I am unhappy that life worked out the way it did in this instance, but what we have now is just as, if not, better than before. It certainly pays a great deal more money much faster, something I never saw with Q/Amway.
