That looks like a fun sport to watch–lots of fast-paced action from fit athletes. I noticed how small the crowd of fans is compared to baseball and football games here in the USA. I wonder why soccer hasn’t caught on in the US compared to the rest of the world. Soccer has always been a popular sport with kids in grade school through middle school in the US (hence the “soccer mom”, driving a mini-van stereotype), but it gets overshadowed by football and basketball at the high school level. Very few Americans seems to pay any attention to it at the professional level. The people I know who follow soccer are immigrants.
