As many IBOs know, XS Energy Drinks (known as XS Power Drinks in Europe) originated as a “healthier” energy drink product created by two IBOs, David Vanderveen and Scott Coon. It was manufactured by a company called Logic Nutrition and resold through Amway (and earlier, Quixtar) and has been a huge success, with recent expansion out of North America and Australia and in to Europe and Asia.
Well today XS has announced on their XSNation Facebook page that they have now been acquired by Amway. Co-founder David Vanderveen will take on an executive role at Amway as Vice President, General Manager of the XS brand.
Congratulations David and Scott, I’m sure you got a great price!

It’s all good and well to propose a healthier energy drink which contains synthetic caffiene. Why have it in your drinks at all. It is not a healthy choice for kids at all. Like these so called non nutrative sweetners. Why don’t they put the chemicals it’s made of on the bottle. Because you won’t buy rat poison on purpose. Any responsible company will treat caffiene like alcohol.
I disagree, there’s increasing amounts of research backing the idea that caffeine, in reasonable amounts, is actually good for you.
SYNTHETIC?? Caffeine, really? Who would want this? Dumb & dumber. Wow, waiting for someone to justify this. Duh.
Will that benefit the ibos probably not but it will the founders of amway. They are not looking out for the little guy just remember that. You are being used never forget that.
Except it has already benefited us, with better pricing and more widespread product availability
is this coming from someone who read all about and knowledge of amway ?? or is an opinion of an outlooker
The thing is with some of Thea’s comments, always seams to amaze me, People who have bin taken vantage of tend to allow there emotions to get the best out of them…. I’m here in Alberta Canada. I was introduced to this opportunity when it was called True North Amway has a few tranning systems…. I was 17 years old when it was called True North, my best friend dad was in it, there home was full of so much products I thought it was strange and did not understand…. I found him really pushie to the point I told my friend to tell her dad to stop or I’m going to loose it on him…. To make my long story short fast forward in 2013 I met my boyfriend who was so amazing to the point I have never met a man who was really a man…. I was re- introduced to it at this time I’m 35 years old , a mom and had a Healthy nutritional Business…. I allowed my boyfriend to take me to some leadership conference to meet some really outstanding people….I was really not that kind of person to even talk to much I did not like crowds at all however I met the cople that was mentoring him…. I was taken back by them do to I never had anyone tell me the really truth…. I did not like them from the start took me 2.5 years to stop being nagitive, I was so broken hearted stressed broke debt and devoiced, How and why do Thea’s people want to help me! What’s in it for them! I was $155.000 debt and top it off I trusted no one at that time of mylife…. this cople showed me how to build a asset, we are all consumers, spend our heard earned money everywhere….. what most don’t get is****** if a candidate loose money doing this business, There are a cople reasons why people loose money….. THE PERSON WHO IS YOUR Direct sponsor who would be your direct meant her it’s clearly not doing their end of the bargain or two unless the person in the business and partnership is not listening to the mentor, since thee so use to doing things there way for so long…..if AMWAY WAS A SCAM THEY WOULD NOT OF LAST 80+ years…………..
The real TRUTH is the reason why people don’t succeed in this business is they may not understand fully how this opportunity works. All the other stories take our money and there is no investment opportunity shopping at Walmart…. to say this last thing it took me 2 years to pay off $155.000. So this opportunity does works you just need to no how to work it.
That’s great news. I always enjoyed the XS Energy drinks when I was an IBO. The whole purpose of building a business is so you can sell it one day and cash out. I’m sure they got a great price as well. It’s good to see them stay with the company as a brand manager with Amway.
The energy drink market offers a huge potential for Amway, especially with the younger generation. I hope they will continue to promote the brand and gain more market share. They have nowhere to go but up!
They are now Parknership with 3500 store so yes they have no where but to go up…. billion dollar company….however what most don’t get is all in who is mentoring you, that will determine your success….
This is awesome news! i spoke with XS’s marketing manager recently and i can tell this will only mean bigger and better things for the brand.
