With little fanfare Amway has announced they have now opened for operations in Kazakhstan in Central Asia. Amway headquarters will be in Almaty, Kazakhstan’s largest city. Amway Kazakhstan operates as a common market with Amway Russia, meaning Russian ABOs can sponsor in Kazakhstan directly.
If there is one thing I really admire about Amway, it’s that they do a good job expanding in international markets. We live in a global economy. Every MLM Company should do business in at least 50+ countries, if not more. As I see it, companies owe it to their distributors to do that. I personally would never work with a company that only did business in 1-2 countries. There are close to 7 billion people in the world and only about 5% of the world’s population lives in the United States. In other words, there is a HUGE opportunity to build internationally, if you partner with the right company at the right time.
